Join us on Sunday, 15th October 2023 for an auspicious day of celebration and thanksgiving dedicated to the good health and long life of His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche, and the continued growth of his ocean of enlightened deeds.
This most meritorious birthday celebration will be marked with a Lama Chopa Tsog, followed by an offering of birthday cake to celebrate the 41 years since Kyabje Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche compassionately took rebirth in this incarnation for the benefit of sentient beings.
It is also the culmination of the 49-day programme commemorating the 4th Parinirvana Anniversary of His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche.
Event Details
The puja will be conducted by visiting Sangha from Shar Gaden, Serpom, Phelgyeling and Segyu monasteries, and led by His Eminence Kensur Rinpoche Jetsun Lobsang Phende and other high lamas and esteemed geshes.

Who is H.H. Kyabje Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche?
His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche is the supreme reincarnation of His Holiness Kyabje Yongdzin Trijang Dorje Chang, who was the junior tutor to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Born in Dalhousie, North India, Kyabje Trijang Chocktrul Rinpoche currently resides in Vermont, USA. In 2004, he established the Trijang Buddhist Institute to promote Tibetan Buddhism in general and Je Tsongkhapa’s tradition in particular.
