Who is Cittamani Tara?
Cittamani Tara is the highest Maha-Anuttara Yoga Tantra manifestation of Tara – Tibet’s most popular female Buddha. In a previous life, Tara vowed to return as a female Bodhisattva in every lifetime, to help practitioners fulfil virtuous wishes and allay their fears and worries. This particular lineage of her practice is unique to the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism, and originates from the visionary experience of the yogi Takpu Gargyi Wangpo.
