Tsongkhapa Retreat
A guided 3D2N mantra retreat for wisdom, blessings & purification of negativities
The Tsongkhapa retreat is based on the Guru Yoga of Lama Tsongkhapa and focuses on the recitation of his sacred Migtsema mantra. It includes meditative practices to invoke Lama Tsongkhapa’s enlightened qualities to accumulate a tremendous amount of merits and purify vast amounts of negative karma.
H.E. Tsem Rinpoche shared this advice for everyone:
“Do Tsongkhapa retreat at least once a year to increase your wisdom (seven types of wisdoms), purify your karma and all kinds of negative thoughts and obstacles. Thoughts like ‘I don’t wanna do Dharma. I can’t do Dharma work. I feel lazy. I cannot make it.’ It will all go away”
Thus, this retreat is extremely effective for anyone who wants to purify obstacles, focus on deeper practices and make progress on their spiritual journey.
Tsongkhapa retreat helps us increase our wisdom so we can gain deeper insights into the Dharma we have learnt, thereby transforming our minds. We will also lessen our anger, depression and overcome various inner and outer obstacles that obstruct our spiritual journey and daily lives. By engaging in this retreat, we are also fulfilling Rinpoche’s instructions, thereby creating the causes for us to reconnect with Rinpoche’s incarnation and for the Dharma to flourish in Kechara Forest Retreat.
Led by our experienced Buddhist pastors, this 3D2N Tsongkhapa Retreat is suitable for all who are new to mantra retreats as well as experienced retreatants who may be too busy to prepare all the necessary offerings and materials.
“Lama Tsongkhapa retreats every three months consistently will heal the mind of pain and emotional scars. One should engage in retreats always.” – Tsem Rinpoche
